In Spite Of Harry's Toe-Nail" opens with flute and gentle guitar. The vocals are so much better on this one which makes a big difference in my enjoyment of it. The vocals stop 2 1/2 minutes in as guitar and drums take over. Especially not if you compare it with the cover of Gnidrologs second album Lady Lake which might be one of the most beautiful covers made in the seventies.

In Spite of Harry's Toenail is the debut studio album by British progressive rock band, Gnidrolog. The album was recorded in the London De Lane Lea Studios in 1972 and released that same year. A re-issue was released in 1999, including previously unreleased material, recorded by the band in 1969. The band's sound, while resembling other progressive bands of the time, such as Van der Graaf Generator, is nevertheless unique, primarily due to the absence of a keyboard.
