Magnet" is the fifth solo album by Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees, released in 2003. The song "Love Hurts" was originally recorded by The Everly Brothers, and he re-recorded the songs "Another Lonely Night in New York" (originally released in 1983 on How Old Are You?) and "Wish You Were Here" (released in 1989, from the Bee Gees' album One). Monster Magnet is an American rock band. Hailing from Red Bank, New Jersey, the group was founded by Dave Wyndorf (vocals and guitar), John McBain (guitar) and Tim Cronin (vocals and drums). Original names for the band were Dog of Mystery, Airport 75, Triple Bad Acid and King Fuzz before finally settling on Monster Magnet, taken from the name of a 1960s toy made by Wham-O, which Wyndorf liked when he was a child.
