In celebration of Bob Dylan's 70th birthday, famous friends and admirers pen tributes to the legenday singer. C - Happy Birthday, Bob! A collection of famous friends pay the legendary singer a tribute.

A stunning tribute to music legend Bob Dylan in honor of his 70th birthday, featuring knockout performances by the cream of the Red House Records artists roster. This CD is the 10th anniversary sequel to Red House s first & Nod To Bob& which came out on 2001 marking Dylan s 60th birthday - and that CD was the best selling title in Red House Records history. The original "A Nod to Bob" album was released ten years ago to mark Bob Dylan's sixtieth birthday. Unlike most collections of Dylan covers, which mix and match a fairly tired list of covers by pop singers over the last 40 years, that album included what were, I think, all new recordings by a fairly significant set of contemporary folk singers. For many listeners I think it may have provided an introduction to artists they might not have been familiar with previously, using Dylan's music as a bridge.

Seventy On Seventy: The 70 Best Bob Dylan Songs, A To Z – The Village Voice‘s David Yaffe has put together his own list of Dylan’s 70 best tunes, though he makes a point of not ranking the songs. Happy 70th Birthday, Bob Dylan – In this radio segment, NPR’s Neal Conan reads a tribute to the singer and plays a recording of the man performing the classic My Back Pages. All Along the Watchtower" was remixed in 2002 and released on The Paperboys' greatest hits album Tenure.

In 1985, Bob Dylan gave an interview to The Los Angeles Times to promote his then-new album, Empire’s Burlesque, and he gave the interview with the outlet under the stipulation that they only talk about his new album and not about anything he’d done in the past (even though, at that time in history, he was only known for hi. Happy birthday, Bob Dylan - you are an immortal!.

Choosing 70th birthday wishes is not as easy as it may look. Turning 70 is a major and, for some people, an emotionally tricky milestone to reach. Some soon-to-be 70 year olds dread everything about turning 70, from the likelihood of more wrinkles on their face to the onslaught of new aches and pains that never seem to go away. Then, you have the type of seventysomethings who have chosen to grow older gracefully, treasuring the trail of memories (and wrinkles) they've forged and enjoyed over seven decades

Happy Birthday Bob Dylan Singer-songwriter Bob Dylan has a birthday today. The man who wrote Forever Young is now 60 years old. His influence on popular culture is strong. He also influenced many to pick up the guitar and sing. Dylan's music inspired a fellow Minnesotan named Bob Feldman to start a record label dedicated to recording great singer-songwriters. We hear from four of the artists. Guy Davis sings Sweetheart Like You, Eliza Gilkyson does Love Minus Zero, No Limit,.

Celebrate the 70th birthday of guitarist Bob Weir by watching videos of him performing with various projects in each decade from the 1960s to the present. In celebration of Weir’s 70th birthday today, below is a retrospective collection of videos of the guitarist performing in each decade from the 1960s to the present. The former was formed to tour the songs recorded for Weir’s 2016 solo album Blue Mountain.
