Fantôme is the sixth Japanese studio album (ninth overall) by Japanese–American recording artist Utada Hikaru. The Tenant (French: Le locataire) is a 1976 French psychological horror film directed by Roman Polanski, starring Polanski, Isabelle Adjani, Melvyn Douglas, and Shelley Winters. It is based upon the 1964 novel Le locataire chimérique by Roland Topor and is the last film in Polanski's "Apartment Trilogy", following Repulsion and Rosemary's Baby. It was entered into the 1976 Cannes Film Festival. The film had a total of 534,637 admissions in France.

Directed by Roman Polanski. A quiet and inconspicuous man rents an apartment in France where the previous tenant committed suicide, and begins to suspect his landlord and neighbors are trying to subtly change him into the last tenant so that he too will kill himself.

The Japan Times canvassed foreign residents about their experiences, and of 63 readers who responded, 52 - or 8. percent - said they had been told or were convinced that their nationalities were the reason for a rental refusal. Only six had no such experience. Among those denied rental were applicants with one Japanese parent, spouses of Japanese nationals and even those with decades of work experience in Japan and permanent residency. One goal was to reassure owners that renting to a foreign tenant is safe, Motojima said. It’s unacceptable for foreign nationality to be used as a reason for denying rental, and we’re trying to change the perception that foreign tenants are a bother to deal with.

The Japan Pavilion is a Japan-themed pavilion that is part of the World Showcase, within Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Its location is between The American Adventure and Moroccan Pavilions. The Japan Pavilion is one of the original World Showcase pavilions and had been in planning since the late 1970s. Many attractions have been proposed for the pavilion and one show building was built, but left unused. Meet the World was one planned attraction and was a clone of the attraction Meet the World that was once at Tokyo Disneyland.

Notes

A 5½" Flexi-Disc manufactured in Russia by some obscure plant in the 90's in Limited Quantities. These were manufactured in different colours; this edition being a Green Acetate and single-sided; there is no B-side.

The song is 'The Tenant' and has been taken from the 1978 recording of the Album 'Obscure Alternatives'. The sound of the recording is quite average and mono.

The Green acetate comes with a simple greyscale cover which has been printed on plain paper. This is a Collectors' item for Completists who must have literally everything 'JAPAN'; this is NOT a record for digital sound lovers or glossy covers admirers.
