This could be the best funk album ever made, even James Brown, Marva Whitney, Lyn Collins, Fred Wesley & The JB's, Marva Whitney, Bobby byrd, Maceo & The Macks just to name a few did not produce as consistent from start to finish albums like this but you have to remember they laid the roots that this album is based on, to many people who have listened to this gene of soul/funk music may think the first statement is crazy but this album should go down as one of the greats, personally i don,t like the other albums by this artist more soulful that funky mark my words because ive seen many albums like this, prices go through the roof in later years.
