Official release notes:Kambo is a dark and mysterious, almost Chris & Cosey sounding, 808 driven proto tech trip into the Amazon woods of Brasil. In a serious ritual, poison of the kambo frog comes to you like an electrocution. After begin sick for a short while, it makes you the happiest person on Earth. For weeks. And this is how it feels. Thee J Johanz’ own remix takes you from the tribes of the Amazon to a kind of tripped out Chicago warehouse in 1987, while RK (Roland Klinkenberg) makes Kambo groove on heavy bass and refined percussion. Limited Edition 500 copies Poison Green Vinyl.

Kambo, a totally unique track that combines quirky melodies with trippy atmospheres. You have to hear this track on a big sound system to fully appreciate it’s depth and beauty. I was pretty amazed by this experience myself. On the B side the TTJ 707 times takes this track into the Jackin’ Zone, where the synth line goes all out and gives the dance floor a nice rub. The Ronald Klinkenberg version is a more restrained and abstract groover that works the floor in a nice and smooth way
