Tarantula is the fifth studio album by New Orleans-based rapper Mystikal, released on December 18, 2001 by Jive Records. The production was done by Rockwilder, Scott Storch, The Medicine Men and The Neptunes, and features artists like Juvenile, Butch Cassidy and Method Man & Redman. The album received a positive reception from critics who found it an improvement over his previous album Let's Get Ready.

The Chicago punk band Tarantüla features three people who used to be in the chaotic DIY punks Cülo. In their new configuration, they make rough, scrappy, generally out-of-control music that has more in common with hardcore’s early-’80s roots than with just about any current iteration of the stuff. Today, Tarantüla release their debut EP Weird Tales Of Radiation And Hate, and its five songs blast by in just over 10 minutes.
