John Squire's second solo album is a loose, chugging affair built on bright ringing guitars and the artist's appealingly scraggled voice. While Marshall's House is, at heart, a concept album inspired by the paintings of Edward Hopper, Squire's scratchy warbled vocals and the music's bohemian shuffle register stronger than any conceptual theme. Like Liam and Noel Gallagher, Robyn Hitchcock, the Lilys, and World Party's Karl Wallinger, Squire mines the catchy psychedelic landscape of heroes like the Beatles and the Pretty Things. Squire's twist is a punchy bar.

15 hrs ·. According to The Center for Public Integrity, Virginia sends a higher percentage of young people to law enforcement than any other state in the country. I highly recommend taking the tour of the house overnment. Also, my guide was great in helping me learn more about 18th and early 19th-century life. I will definitely be visiting the John Marshall House again.

John Squire and Ian Brown should have been the Lennon and McCartney of the 1990s. Thirteen years ago, they were the creative force behind the Stone Roses, who were in an unassailable position at the top of British rock. Their debut album, also called the Stone Roses - recently voted the greatest album of all time in a BBC poll - had rescued Britrock from its stadium-rock doldrums and paved the way for virtually every subsequent development in British rock, notably Oasis. Somehow, though, it all went horribly wrong.

John James Marshall (September 24, 1755 – July 6, 1835) was an American politician and lawyer who served as the fourth Chief Justice of the United States from 1801 to 1835. Marshall remains the longest-serving chief justice and fourth-longest serving justice in Supreme Court history, and he is widely regarded as one of the most influential justices to ever sit on the Supreme Court. Prior to joining the Supreme Court, Marshall served as the United States Secretary of State under President John Adams.
