Nice guitar and background vocals (including Cissy Houston, Whitney's mother), I also like the false ending about a minute before the end. The lyrics may not be poetry, but they fit the song really well. Reply Notify me 1 Helpful.

Listen to music from Kiki Dee like I've Got the Music in Me, Amoureuse & more. Kiki Dee (born Pauline Matthews on 6 March 1947, in Little Horton, Bradford, West Yorkshire, England) is a highly successful singer/songwriter, with a career that has lasted over 40 years. Her most famous song was a duet with Elton John, entitled "Don't Go Breaking My Heart", which was released in 1976 and went to Number 1. Kiki Dee began singing with a local band in Bradford in the early 1960s. Her recording career began as a session singer.

Kiki's career within the music industry has been a unique and incredible ride, spanning four decades. She has covered all bases - from classic interpretations of Soul hits, to a repertoire of live and recorded material which includes eight UK Top 40 hits as well as masterful performances in major West End musicals. Despite widespread critical acclaim for her work in the '60s, commercial success remained elusive until 1973 when Kiki signed to Elton John's Rocket Records label. The anticipated commercial success materialized  . Best album Kiki Dee made. The remastering is excellent here. The standout songs are "I've Got The Music In Me", "Do It Right" and "Little Frozen One".

Kiki Dee - Amoureuse (CD 1996). This is an easy listening album. Kiki Dee is a very accomplished and some say under-rated female vocalist.

Kiki Dee. Album: Amoureuse.
