The sound is lush and multi-layered while remaining clear and well-structured. There are a few weak spots. David Gilmour’s vocals are sometimes weak and lackluster and The Great Gig in the Sky (which closes the first side) probably could have been shortened or dispensed with, but these are really minor quibbles. The Dark Side of the Moon is a fine album with a textural and conceptual richness that not only invites, but demands involvement.
Ohio boys, Walk The Moon, released their major debut in the States back in the summer and now they've shipped it over to the UK. A good move seeing as the UK is a pop-loving place. Walk The Moon provide all the right elements, but they need to tailor them to create a more unique sound for themselves, not just adopt aspects from an array of other artists, who have engaged people recently through doing something different.
Shut Up and Dance (Walk the Moon song). Shut Up and Dance" (stylized as "SHUT UP + DANCE") is a song by American rock band Walk the Moon for their second studio album Talking Is Hard (2014). It was written by the band members and songwriters Ben Berger and Ryan McMahon. The song is based on an experience lead singer Nicholas Petricca had at a Los Angeles nightclub. His girlfriend invited him to dance, inspiring the title.
