Fearsome Engine - Biting Point. By frozen dream, October 1, 2009 in 2009. Team-up album from Laughing Buddha+Tristan, sounds like these guys wanna serve the dancefloor with excellent entertaining full-on which leaves little to the imagination, and everything for the body to interpret.

Can't believe no one has commented on this album yet - although I only stumbled across it by searching recommendations on Discogs, so maybe it hasn't been very well publicised.Anyway, this is one of the best Psy-trance albums I've heard for a while. Fearsome Engine's style is full-on, but manageable and understated, ie. you don't get that feeling of being trampled and stamped on by dance music as with other full-on artists. It's trippy and spacey with plenty of FX, and vocal samples that punctuate the music rather than dominate it.If I had to point out something negative it would be the slightly annoying vocal sample in 'Crazy', but it only occurs twice and doesn't even spoil the track itself, so it's not much of a gripe. If you like the less head-crushing, ear-bleeding side of full-on such as Braincell or Fatali, you will most likely get a huge kick out of 'Biting Point'. I for one can't wait for the next album.
