The Mentors are an American heavy metal band, known for their deliberate shock rock lyrics. Originally formed in Seattle, Washington in May 1976, they relocated to Los Angeles, California in 1979 where their irreverent attitude aligned them with the city's punk rock scene. Their music has developed stylistically over the years from garage metal to hardcore punk to experimental thrash metal.

Lossy detection software passes it as CD quality but because they went back and turned up the volume to compensate for the missing sound (DR 3 VS DR6), there is a lot of sound that passes the hard cutoff thus creating a false positive.
