Although the album was hyped as his strongest work yet, the surprise drop on June 23, 2015 was not initially successful. Commercially it tanked, selling 2,200 copies first week, and not even charting on the US Billboard 200. How then did an album with Kanye West, Mike Dean, Lil Wayne and Boosie Badazz fail? The album opens with ''People'' in a very promising Classic Prog start, featuring a style split between complex Prog and organ-based Hard Prog with fiery guitar work, excellent organ runs and some beautiful symphonic-inclined flutes towards the en. ENESIS, VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR, YES AND JETHRO TULL-influences are more than obvious in this very good composition. However the rest of. the album never reaches this level. 'City main'' is a commercial Hard Rock tune with decent guitar leads, only saved by a jazzy-influenced middle part.

Dillinger Escape Plan continued the trend of releasing one album every three years with Option Paralysis coming out in 2010 and One of Us Is a Killer finding a release in 2013. The former of the two reached No. 78 on the Billboard 200 and was voted the N. album on Pitchfork’s reader’s poll, and the latter was promoted by a North American tour opening for Soundgarden and Nine Inch Nails. DEP’s set started pretty good not as crazy as I thought it would be but still good. But as the show progress the pit, the crowd, the band just continued to get more chaotic. The setlist was good blend of each era of the DEP’s discography including three new songs from the latest album. Seeing as this is their farewell tour, its good list of songs to go out on.
